It's very hot here in TX. i'm frustrated that our pool isn't ready to use. We need to replace the liner and don't have the money to replace it.. and we will try to repair it but Sean isn't here to help. So., I've been watering my plants, wear my swimsuit and hose myself down. Sounds crazy but it's relaxing.
I'm so pleased with the success of my garden so far this year. I decided to do a container garden again., I used miracle grow potting soil with those water holding beads... well it seems to be working. I have 3 tomato plants that have started producing some very tasty fruit. And I planted a sweet yellow banana pepper which is unbelieveable. I picked 12 large peppers yesterday and made a salsa., there are probably another 2 dozen peppers that will be ready in a few days... I'm thrilled! My cucumbers, zucchini and cantalope I started from seed a couple of weeks ago are starting to flower... I still want to plant sunflowers., and some seeds Adele gave me. Its a flower, I think.
There is something about gardening that is so relaxing.
